Charges

You pay when you see results. Here's how we quote and charge.

We operate a clear, easy-to-understand pricing structure. It's very simple: you pay when your website achieves certain ranking levels in the targeted search engines.

Our customers like working this way because all costs are calculated before we start work. You can budget with certainty, and there's no risk, because if the optimization doesn't work, you don't pay.

Very occasionally we'll work to a fixed monthly fee, but usually only when targeting very generic search terms.

How we quote

You can target a combination of several search terms across different search engines. When you request a quote for our SEO services, we calculate the cost by looking at each search term you wish to target.

We'll break down the cost for each individual term and search engine within the quote. How much the quote is will depend on the amount of competition for that term and how your site is ranked to start with.

Once you have a quote, it's guaranteed, so you'll know exactly what the optimization will cost before we start.

Ranking levels

Once we've started work, you pay us each time we achieve a certain ranking. For instance, you might pay $5,000 when your site reaches the top 5 and $10,000 when it hits number one.

You only pay the difference between each level when a target is achieved. This means that the maximum cost cannot be higher than the charge for reaching the top result.

Contracts

If you choose to go ahead, all the different search terms you want to target will be processed as a single order. That order has a contract which runs for a minimum period of time, so our optimization work has a chance to take effect. You'll only ever be asked to pay when we reach agreed targets.

For instance

Here's an example. If your website sells coffee and you wanted to target the phrase best coffee, we might give you the following performance-related quote for rankings on Google:

Search ranking level Total cost
Top 50 $1,000
Top 20 $2,000
Top 5 $3,000
Top 3 $5,000
Top 1 $10,000

As your website hits each ranking level, you only pay the difference between the total cost and the cost for the previous ranking.

In this example, you'd pay $1,000 when you website reached the top 50. Then when it hit the top 20, you'd pay another $1,000. This means your costs can never exceed the cost for number one – so you can budget for our service with absolute certainty.

Contract length

All our contracts run to a fixed length. This is usually six months to a year. Contracts come to an end in one of two ways:

  • The contract period ends. At the end of the contract period, we will stop work. If you're impressed with what we achieve, we can continue with a new contract.
  • We hit the top spot for all requested search terms. If we achieve a number one ranking for all your keywords, the contract comes to an end early. To help you maintain that top ranking, we can move you to a maintenance contract at a modest monthly cost.
